Wessel’s Farms Today
In a little over 30 years, Wessels’ Farms has grown from Henry Wessels’ vegetable garden to 260,000 square feet of greenhouse facilities surrounded by 10 acres of outdoor production area. Currently, Wessels’ Farms produces 30,000,000 plugs; 150,000 bedding and perennial flats; 125,000 summer annuals in assorted sizes; 165,000 assorted pots of hardy mums; and 40,000 florist quality poinsettias.
Wessel's Farms is proud to announce new advancements in renewable energy making our facility energy efficient and environment freindly. In 2009 we installed a bio mass boiler utilizing waste wood to create heat for our buildings and green houses.
